Last year when I had to have my 6 year old pts you supported me through the worst times and gave me confidence to do the right thing for which I love you all,

Recently I have bought a new horse (will post pics soon i promise!), when I posted on here I had some lovely comments, as I was feeling guilty about being happy over a new horse which made me love you all even more,

Now if you could just advise me on how to get a body like Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider I will be in you debt forever :)

But if you can't I will still be grateful for all your help and support through the saddest and happiest times in my life over the last year and i just wanted to say THANK-YOU to all of you who read or replied to my posts.

welsh mare - to you i say im so glad you have past the sadnest - but your memories still there - and have a new little treasure to focus on - big big huge hugs
to HHO - there are the most amazing kind ppl on here that have helped me in my topsy turvy world of baby - i look to you ppl for support like Foster mum did - such fanatatic people :) xxx

been there, with the pts, i was completely broken hearted when cooper was pts, thought i'd never be ok, only for cassie to be pts 7 mths later, Lost the will to live for a while, and to be honest, am still not the same. It was like losing my family. I had spirit through all of it as he was only a baby, loved him, but not in the same way. After Cooper died, i mucked out, fed, etc but was totally numb, and i still miss him terribly, but I now adore spirit. Looking back, I think if i hadn't lost cooper, spirit would never have gotten the attention he deserved. He's a wonderful, cheeky baby, at 4. But, I was so obsessed with cooper, I'd have ridden spirit and sold him on. He's now my best boy, and I wouldnt sell him for anything. There is still raw pain for the loss of cooper and that will never go away, but things happen for a reason, so you are allowed to love your new horse, your young boy in heaven is looking down, saying "she's not riding him correctly yet", i guarantee you!!! big hugs to you, I know how you feel!!!

Sorry, can't help at all with the Angelina Jolie thing, but, hey, I wouldn't want to look like her anyway so I ain't trying very hard!

Having a very much loved horse PTS is a hard decision to make: I had to do it at Christmas 2009. Couldn't go near a yard/horse/tack for weeks. I bought an almost 4YO 4 months later, as I knew him already, instinctively knew he was "right", and a year on I am having fun again. I do still miss my boy. However, being happy again is a good thing. All the very best to you with your new horse, looking forward to pics!
