I managed to move! Happy

I managed to move Ruby today. I am so happy. For those of you who don't know, Ruby was very unhappy at this yard. This meant she couldn't go out. She has been in 2 weeks today. I was due to move last week, but due to snow the transport cancelled on me.

Today though I managed to leave she was a bit of a pain loading and took a team of people! But travelled fine. We unloaded the other end, but couldn't get the lorry up the track so I had to unload on the road and walk her up. She was so good bless her.

She went straight in the field. She just walked calmly as if she had never left. She was so calm we put my old share mare out with her (they were very close before) and they had a sqeal but settled quickly and went off to graze together.

She was ok to bring in, no rearing or broncing which was nice! But a bit bargy, I suppose it wil take her a while to settle down again and realise she won't be alone.

Shes happily munching on her haynet with a huge fluffy bed.

Ah v glad to hear alls well as was following your snowed in thread. Phew big relief! I know, it's awful when you have an unhappy horse and feel 'stuck' but onwards and upwards!

They are lovely stables. Hers is still very new. Its only had one Horse in before. Her old stable is now taken. She looked a bit confused coming in!

She did act up big time when coming in yesterday. But she is deffiently calming down. Her and my old share Horse are as close as they used to be! Its juse been them 2 out over the weekend and the 2 geldings where introduced today. She all had a big run around but that was it. Byt the time I left they were all grazing happily. Heres some photos of her and Nelly (my old share Horse of 2 years)

So nice to see her with pals out in the fields.
