Well, 2 of them! And what lovely people they are!
I've seen them around the yard before, but never had a proper chat.
I was grooming Viking in the yard, as it was far too hot to ride. They came and told me about the races he's won and that even though he didn't win every race, he will still their very favourite! Unlike some syndicates, it was obvious they cared for the horse and not the money he brought home. They're not horsey at all, but they just love coming to pat him and give him carrots - which he loves too!
I told them I had ridden him the day before and how beautifully he behaved and they even asked me if I could ride him more often as he's getting a bit porky and they may even come to watch me in the shows!! I said I wasn't brave enough to jump him, but I may do some ridden showing or even in-hand
Pointless post really, I just think they're lovely people who think the world of their horse
