I have had my three year old mini Shetland colt for not even a couple of weeks, I have never shown in hand before and have just entered him into a show in September.
So, I have less than four weeks to introduce him to the bit and do whatever else I need to do (see, I really don't have a clue!), get myself togged out and get the trailer roadworthy.
Not much to do then!
Even if we show badly I can hopefuly have a chat with some other Shettie people and see if they think my lad has a chance in the ring once we have both worked out what we are meant to be doing!
Hopefully I won't have a full blown panic attack and leave the ring screaming........
