I am trying to get hold of a second hand tweed and they are like rocking horse poo all I can find are ones on ebay that are new, there must be loads out there that have been out grown,

I dont particularly want to buy a new one if I can save a few pounds on 2nd hand.

does anyone know of any sites I could look at other than ebay or does anyone on here know of one for sale?

Theres a classifed section on horse gossip ive got some bits for my daughter off there. On the other hand for my daughter as things are expensive i buy a size or two bigger and sew the cuffs up and then when she grows let them down again, shes had the same showjumping jacket for 3 1/2 years now, and it only cost 40 pounds new and its still fits her now with the cuffs down.:)

There are usually quality tweeds advertisied on Horsequest as well - the thing is, even if you end up paying £50 for one, you can sell it for the same money in a years time (been doing that for years with mine - unfortunately don't have any 22" left)

Also Mrs Candy and Designer Browbands have a good second hand range. There is a specialist in second hand riding clothing, but for the life of me I can't remember what they are called!

Thank you for your replys, will contact local pony club dont know why I didnt think of that, plus have a look on horsequest, (i thought they only sold horses lol)

I'm not sure what size the one my son used to have is.....let me check tonight when I get home, if it's 22 inches, you can certainly buy it if we agree on price! :D It's excellent condition too, blue tweed.
