Can anyone please recommend me a good equine dentist in the Bed/Bucks area that is RELIABLE!! And that doesnt use electric rasps.

Ive tried Richard Halls and David Shaw and they dont return calls and Ive tried Rupert Smith but he only uses electric rasps. Im getting desparate now

Thankies

Dave Saw is REALLY slow at returning calls....I think it took him about 2.5 weeks to get back to me, but he IS reliable. I think the people at my yard use someone called Belinda, i'll ask Debbie tonight and get back to you.

Gotta be Lucinda Stockley. She's amazing. She trained as a behaviourist with Sarah Fisher before spending a lot of years studying dentistry so she's very very good at handling horses. She does use the electric rasp but if you explain that you don't want it she may use the manual one instead.

She really is brilliant

Another vote for Lucinda Stockely, I've used her for many years now and she is wonderful, she's the only EDT I will trust.

Trouble is Minxie she was in a nasty car crash (not her fault) a few weeks back and I don't think she's quite up and running yet.

If you can get together 5 horses to be done it may be worth giving Jono Keen a ring. He's based in Glos but should travel out for 5 horses (or less horses and a larger call out fee). He did my lot when I was at college and he did a brilliant job, plus he's very patient and quiet. Weezy uses him and I'm sure she'll reccomend him as well. PM me is you want his number.
