I need a good vet- Cheshire

I've used our local vets for flu gabs etc but since moving 7 years ago I've near needed them for anything major but now Tazz has a lump under her chin, and I want someone who knows what their doing with horses, our local vets are more 'dogs and cat vets'

can anyone recommend a vet? I used to be with Write and Morten but haven't used them for 7 years, are they worth the £40 call out fee?

We use Wright & Morten, would recommend them definitely.

Not sure other vets call out charges would be much cheaper round here TBH.

What part of Cheshire are you?

I run a rehab centre in North Shropshire and have had some dealings with Becky from Nantwich, she has been very knowledgeable. Otherwise David Jagger from Fyrnwy is excellent however he is North Shropshire.

You could always book your horse in to Sommerford Park and save on the call out .... Wright & Morten work from there.

thomason and walters are really good they have a fab x ray equipment that they can use at your yard which transfers straight onto the lap top so you can see results instantly.

Not sure if Agnew equine go to your part of Cheshire, depends where you are - Specialist horse vets - do nothing else - excellent and call out fee depends on distance to your home

I use Wright and Morten but insist on John Yarwood. When he retires I'l probably start using a vet more local?

Colin is fantastic and there was a couple of nice lady vets who came to see my girls.

I rang Colin on his mobile in a state one Sunday morning and he was there within the hour.
