i need a kick... and hypnosis

i really need a kick up the arse to tell myself that i can ride, and i can control my horse and that i can jump.. and if i ride like i can ride then were a bloody good partnership...

very fed up after my showjumping today..
is there any advice you can give me for being more self confident, and trusting

and does hypnosis work??

i spoke to the horses old owner, he said to stay confident, calm and relaxed and youll win everything!
i hadnt jumped since november, hadnt competed since then, i had 2 refusals... then went round non competitvely and she flew it.
i spoke to someone at the competition, and he said give her a good sock in the gob, and she will respect you... so i did halfway round; she listened to me in the double, and landed it nicely... another firm half halt into the last and she was good

alot more work is needed at home i think though!!
