I need a really heavyweight rug !!!

I need to find a turnout rug in excess of 450g. Anyone know of one?

Premiere Equine International do a full neck haevy weight that is 450 I think . (mine is last years at 450 so pressume new one is too!) V. good and doesnt move at all, also generous size so they are extra toastie!

And its a bargain too!!

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I have a Rambo supreme already which is same weight near enough. The horse wears over 1000g on cold nights so I am looking for as heavy as possible to stop me having to put three rugs on !!! He is really happy out with adlib haylage and loads of hard feed, just gets cold.

premier equine, fab rugs, and they are 450. i believe shires do a 520 one!! however both mine have the PE rugs and my gelding has the stble rug too - they are excellent value for money.

We use a Fal 400gram with the FAL under rug. Tkes it up to 600Gram. (this is for a very skinny TB that loses condition in an instant)

The Rambo Jumbo Wug is about 550g I think.
