Horse needs shockwave therpy for suspensory desmitis but my vets don't have the equipment, and the referral hopsital who diagnosed him is 160miles from us and hence, too far!!

So anyone know a vet that does it - we are in the Midlands, but do have transport so can travel

If you are prepared to travel about an hour to guildford, my vet has the equipment and has spent the last 6 months treating my gelding's desmitis in both hinds with it.

Thanks for the PMs etc

Spaniel - horse has just come back from Bristol Vet School - was nearly 160miles and a good 3 hours so unfortunately is a bit far to go on a regular basis

Sassyequine - I have been given a couple of numbers to try that aren't too far, but if I could have your vet's number too that would be great as you never know if these vets can do it at the moment etc

Thanks!!

I am fairly certain that Hook Norton Vets in Hook Norton near Banbury do it, they have a dedicated equine unit which is nearly new.

Where abouts are you in Midlands?
My vets have a portable shockwave machine and will travel, they are based just north of Newbury
