Hi guys, who can vouch for treeless saddles as they seem to be the answer to my prayers but no one i know has one. I have a 15 yr old 15.1 section D. Who has changed shape over the last few months, although not obviously. We have gone down from the widest wintec gullet to the narrowest one that fits . I'm not convinced this saddle is right for her. When asked for canter did a big bucking fit across the field , the saddle slid way over to the right but i did not fall off (yay me) but did break my finger. My concern is ,if i buy a fab saddle fitted to her now, is her shape changing in the future going to make that one useless. So many second hand saddles say ' for sale because my horse has changed shape' . Hence, is this where the treeless comes in ? I am prepared to pay for top end second hand such as solution or heather moffett. I would be interested to hear any opinions. Thanks.

I've got a second hand Solution for my grey, but I've hardly ridden in it as she's now injured. Boooooo! :( It is a lovely saddle though and when she's fixed I hope to test it out properly.

I have a Solution Smart. I've used it on all shapes and sizes, and can really recommend them. They are designed with the knowledge that horses change shape - you can add on pads/shims depending on your horse, if you need to.
I think it must be around 10 years since I had the first saddle from them..
