Oh, poor you. I had to do that when i was at Uni...I was totally useless, so I'm sorry I cant help. Is there not anyone at your Uni, that can help you? Whereabouts are you?

I asked this when i was doing my dissertation - i basically got ripped to pieces and told to do it myself and it was my own fault for not knowing!!!

Charming eh?!!! Anyhoo's, do you have minitab?
If not, you can download it for a free 30-day trial - it's a god send! Aside from that, there ARE stats people online who you can pay, but they're about £2000!

Not sure if there are any on here, but you never know. Good luck - i really feel for you!

surely if youre doing an MSc you will have already done stats for your BSc dissertation? i used minitab for mine too, but there are other stats programs out there too i guess it depends what you are used to! do you know what tests you are doing?

thanks everyone for your help, i did a BA and did a study on grand national and a business report so didn't need to do any stats...lucky me! I have downloaded minitab thanks everyone been having a go on that....! I have found a relationship between pelvic asymmetry in the horse and rider and i have tried to do some pearsons correlation and i tihink i need to do t-tests...but i am struggling to understand which figures to compare!!! eventer28 i'll PM you!

youre in luck-i did pearsons/spearmans correlations for my dissertation as well as regression analysis and stepwise regression so i might be able to help!! PM me if you want?

I used the SPSS program for any stats I did, think it is slightly aimed at psychology and social sciences but yor data sounds pretty normal. Even if you don't use that one, there is a book that goes with it, SPSS survival manual that is really good and simple to follow.

I did stats a long while back but I wouldn't want to try and work my way round it now! Minitab is good!

On another note I would be interested to read your findings
