i need help!

rode out today on my own..a bit blowy but glorious weather...Rowan was a pig and now my confidence is shaky again...

He just got into stubben mood and i felt totally unable to cope...we were dancing on 2 feet and he wouldnt go forward...

Can anyone suggest an instructor who would come out to me here in the sticks who will help nuture and basically sort my horse out!
 
no he is always like that when he is on his own... i should be grateful he didnt try to drop and roll like he normally would.....

i dont want him to get stuck with riding out in company all the time...he used to drive out in his own...al be it without brakes!

I think i need someone to just come and kick my butt and tell me to get on with it and then tell me how to cope when he does play up.....

IM fine myself when in company...i can deal with anything..we nearly landed on a car the other day when i got him off the road however he landed on the horses infront and missed the car by 1/2 a foot. that hasnt fazed me at all...
 
Have you tried going back and long reining him out on his own? I used to have a horse that did similar things when she was out on her own, although was fine in company, and ok in the school to. I went back to long reining her, and just got over the fact that actually she could manage to walk down the road on her own without being an absolute t*t!!!
