I need help!!!!

I'm not sure if i'm posting in the right section, or not, sorry if it is wrong

I can't jump my horse for a couple of months beacause the field where i worked him is too slippery/muddy! All i can do is Hack him out, but i wanted to know if there was anything that i could do while i'm out hacking? There are a few logs which i can pop over whilst out but nothing ideal....has anyone got any ideas? please help me!!!

ps: i dont go to a riding stables yet but am hoping to start in the next couple of weeks, but wont be taking my horse there for quite a while (my trailer is in England and i'm in france!!)

If it is safe, you could try the serpentine, halt and back up, lengthening walk and trot, shortening walk and trot, leg yield and shoulder in

thankyou, its definatly safe....round where i live the french drivers drive soooo slowly, my horse is faster!!! The only problem is the space!!!! the tracks are not wide enough for a serpentine but i will try everything else

if its safe, perhaps try jump changes? like trot to halt/walk - canter etc.?

I like to leg yield and shoulder in along the quiet roads while I am out. It makes the horse pay attention and learn obedience.

he is quite good at both of those things, might just have to try that ^^ especially when everyone is suggesting it!!
