Hello all,
Im having a bit of a dissertation related crisis and would really appreciated any ideas/reassurance! Uni have put the pressure on to choose topics and supervisors already for next year so naturally we are all panicking!
As much as im sure I should avoid horses as my topic (studying animal science) as the majority of my experience is equine, im thinking if I have to devote the next year and a half to this it needs to be something im interested in and know a little about!
So, I want to base it on polo ponies
and I would like to incorporate a trip abroad to do some research!
Ideas I can think of include:
1. looking into embryo transfer (perhaps comparing to other methods?)
2. looking at how temperature affects performance? (e.g. ponies that play hot european season and then go off to to the snow polo) however im worried theres to many other variables to account for? and I dont really know how id monitor this?
3. The effects of all the bandages and boots and if they benefit or not
Or completely different
lookign into behavior of wild animals in africa...whilst studying them on horseback
hehe
I would be really grateful if anyone has any other ideas? or any experiences, I just dont know if im choosing something to big! or even how id go about it all!! Help!!
Thank you for reading
