Can anyone help!

I am looking to buy meself a new pair of riding boots, but cant seem to make up my mind what to get!

Ideally i need something that will last a long time, be able to be worn to do all stable duties such as mucking out and also to ride (im lazy and dont like to swap shoes over), be waterproof and warm for winter. They also need to look smart and scrub up well. I want long boots really as i have a pair of jod boots for summer.
I like the look of mountain horse boots, particulally the rimfrost rider as they look nice and warm for winter, but i dont know if they will last and i am scared to muck out etc in them in case they are ruined!

Budget wise, under £150 ideally.

I have these boots:

And have been wearing them for a couple of years now - I find them really comfy and can quite happily wander around all day in them. They are pretty waterproof - but do have a zip up the back - so there is a major water seepage chance there!!

I always liked the look of the mountain horse boots, but could never get them to fit me, as I have skinny little ankles, and the mountain horse boots all seem to be very "generous" around the ankle.

Thanks Flo_Bell,
I just cant seem to make my mind up, have tried the mountain horse on but they are generous as you said, but then again in winter i will proberbly need the room for extra socks lol.

I just would like some opinions/recomendations before i spend £100 on a pair of boots that turn out to be awful!

I brought my toggi boots in our local general agricultural feedstuff kinda place.. I think I paid £60 for them - even if you brought them online I am pretty sure you could get them cheaper than the weblink I put up on here - that was just the first one that I found!!

I have had a couple of pairs of socks on with these boots - and they were fine.

Oh and I forgot to say that they scrub up nicely too! I just use some warm water (or the hose pipe if I am feeling lazy!!) and the scrubbing brush!

I was looking for Mountain Horse substitutes as I needed something a tad more conventional looking for showing purposes and with a slightly smaller price tag. I eventually went for a pair by Regent - they are called 'Rustler Ranch Riders' or something like that. They were pretty much £100 spot on, long leather boots, very smart looking but a slightly chunkier heel than standard boots so a tiny bit more informal. Can highly recommend them.

I've not had any problem with them not being waterproof, but not walked through a river with them!
