I need some new cordless clippers which are the best?

Can anybody recommend good cordless clippers suitable for cob and tb.I borrowed lister liberty and found them good but wondered if there is anything else to compare them to as they are expensive.

You will find, the Liberty, is the only (as far as I know) cordless full size clipper with a long battery life, Wolseley make the Merlin, which is about 45 minutes on a charge, so buying two batteries is advisable and Liveryman and Heinigar produce similar. Unfortunately IMHO the newer Listers are not as good as the earlier Showman, but they still are top of their niche in the market. The Moser Avalon is also good, but not IMHO suited to thick "full" clipping.

Lister Libertys are the market leader in cordless clippers. They are by far the best. Clippersharp have got them on special offer at the moment.

We've got the Lister Showman (forerunner of the Lister Liberty) - they are great clippers, we used to use them for show cows and horses. I have also got the Lister Meteor, small cordless clipper/trimmer, and I love them. My horse used to need sedating (spooky TB) but with the Listers she is clippable without.

I have Heinger clippers which are great. The batteries have a tendency to last over an hour. However you need to purchase a spare battery as the clippers only come with one

I've got Liveryman Harmony ones - they're really good and very quiet. Quite small though so took me a while to clip!

If someone can save a load of cash by buying from a named place please don't be so pathetic..helping someone save money is not advertising...
Incidentally clippersharp are actually on here under their own name, and it wasn't them advising they had a sale on!

I bought my lister liberty's and a pair of trimmers. I was told the Lister Liberty are by far the best cordless clippers and since I have now purchased a cob I decided to blow the budget and go for it (any excuse really). I haven't used them yet as had a terrible hangover last weekend!!! But he is being clipped this weekend and I have had them out the box to look at and admire since I bought them!! I can't wait to use them! I also bought from Clippersharp and have to say what fantastic service. Ordered at 3.15pm and arrived next day before 10am. WOW

I'm sure they will do the job, interested as to what basis the advice that "Lister are best" was made. Heiniger are the world largest suppliers and at £246 they will take a lot of beating.
