You know the sticky Flourescent stuff? Because.....
Tonight when i was catching the girls it was pitch black and I turned round and fell over a completely black shetland!!!
Yo and his son were in hysterics! I was just glad it was the nice shettie not the evil one or id have been back barrelled big time!!

So ive said im going to get some tape and put chevrons on their bums!! (the shetlands not YO's!)

That made me laugh - just as bad as nearly somersaulting over the wheelbarrow in the dark this morning - at least a shetland is a bit softer. I have a black shetland too just haven't fallen over him yet. He disappeared once and I found him with two feet in my car in the passenger side trying to get hold of the biscuit tin! If I leave the boot open he is in there chucking everying out!... But he's lovey though.

We have 3 identical ones!! Can never tell the girls apart! the other is a stallion though!
Do you think the tape would stick to the coat? lol would love to do it as a joke!! think the YO face would be a picture!

They have coats like polar bears so def no rug!
Im sat here thinking of silly ideas like painting their hooves with flourescent nail polish!
I wouldnt do it of course!!
 
Did you ever see the Youtube of Extreme Shepherding? Some farmer had spent thousands of hours wrapping fairy lights round the individual sheep in his flock and then filmed them at night, being rounded up in different ways that made patterns out of the fairy lights. Honestly! Could you dig out your Xmas fairy lights and wrap them round your little shettie??? Mind you, she'd have half the local population ringing the MoD with stories of alien spaceships!
