I need your help...cannot decide which to buy!

I posted a link to Ellie's pics from our recent shows and ODEs yesterday, but for some reason the links would not work :(

All of these images have been obtained from www.dpiphotos.com, and seeing as I would like to buy a fair few of them, I would really like some advice as to which are the best, as I cannot decide which to get! I want to buy three initially, with a view to possibly getting two more for my nan if I can persuade her to buy some (and that way I get to scan them in so I get a copy too :D )

So, please help me choose the best three!!! I have narrowed it down to these:

See my dilemma!? I love them all, but I cannot afford £90 - not when she's just cost me so much money replacing all her bedding :mad: Naughty mare! Any opinions gratefully received! :)

Have a look in CR on the subject of photography and theft and then see if you want to rethink your OP. You have not only "stolen" pics from someone's site but you are also cheerfully saying you are going to buy photos and then scan them - you don't normally buy the rights to do that.

Argh, this is definitely going to be tricky! Looks like 1 is a definite then, seeing as two people agree....LOL :D

Jemima_Too - I've been very clear about where the photos have come from, and have not in any way attempted to remove the watermark, so if anything, surely it is a positive for the photographer, not a negative? And I have spent a fair amount of money with this photographer in the past, and will continue to spend money with him in the future. I will, however, hold my hands up if Admin say I'm in the wrong :)
 
Id buy 2 and 8. I dont really like any of the others, as a photographer myself, I think they are not framed as well as they could have been (i mean whats in the shot) or the ones of the jumps, having the horse coming over the jump on the three quarter view is better in my opinion as it makes for a more dynamic shot.

That's interesting - my brother is a photographer (amateur :D) too and that is EXACTLY what he said! 2 and 8 are my favourites as well I think...

I like 2, 4 and 8. But maybe take 4 off and put on 9? I cant decide :D
I agree with someone above me about the pictures not being as good.. Not that they arent good, just the frame and showing half of what they are meant to?

Looks like I have had my wrists slapped :p, but luckily for me, I still remember which pictures were numbered which - LOL :D

Thanks very much for all your thoughts...I am still deliberating now! The XC jumping one is a definite, and I like the sepia one too....so will just have to mull over the choices for the third one :D

EgerdenFarmStud - she's by a Selle Francais stallion called Geraldo (Grand E'scla, Alme), out of an Arab mare. I've only ever been able to find one more Geraldo offspring! :(

Oh, Ok.... I thought for a second that she maay have been the Ellie I sold to Event a few years ago, would have kept her but I had a car accident and was told I'd never ride again, so she had to go :( My Ellie was by Supreme Chance... But she looked so similar to yours...

All pics are lovely btw

Ahhh...well my Ellie has been with me for ten years now, so it wouldnt have been her anyway! And this year is the first time she's ever really gone XC - we're definite eventing novices :D Do you have any pics of your Ellie? Would be lovely to see them! :) Must be so hard having to pass them on... :(
