I have a very important horsey interview Monday... i.e. a huge great big show star!!! What the hell am I supposed to say or do???

I am not thinking straight or talking or acting it!!!

I NEED YOUR FEEL PLEASE!!!!???!!!!

Treat it as tho its a normal interview. Stay calm and think before you speak!

Be on time - check your route out today or tomorrow you dont want to be flapping because your lost and give yourself a bit extra time incase of traffic on Monday - kids are back at school, be well dressed -ie ironed shirt or top, clean boots, be polite and DONT cut anyone up on the way there (long long story and it did not help i called her a Fat Tw@t - boy did my heart sink when i walked into that room!) and dont lie or over exaggerate your experiance - tell them you dont know if you dont - but show you are willing to learn

If you have the kind of memory that is good with facts, memorise some horse names and the successes, then you an drop them into the conversation (let the person take the lead though, they may want to tell you everything lol).

I worked with some show horses over the summer. Was bricking myself before I went to meet the owners! I'd say it pays to be yourself, be honest about your experience and show willing
