Was so proud of myself buying a new rug for my new boy in the sale during the summer, then a bargain one off ebay a couple of weeks ago. Heavy rain this morning, thought I'd pop the no-fill rain sheet on him, it looked like a handkerchief on his back and the straps didn't even meet. I'd measured him at 5'9", hubby helped me measure again tonight and he's actually 6'6". Doh.
Even more annoying, I gave all my old mare's rugs away when I had her PTS and she was a 6'9" so some of them might have fitted him...
So now I have a brand new (in bag) Amigo lightweight turnout and a Weatherbeeta Orican Combo heavy weight both 5'9" to sell. AND I have to find some cash asap to buy a rain sheet if this nasty weather continues!
