absolutly nothing lol she didnt give a monkeys not even when we put girth on and walked her
 
thank you! iv never met such a placid animal in all my life shes 3 never been moved before in a strange place with an even stranger woman faffing about plaiting her up bathing her putting silly things on her back and not giving a monkeys!
 
how old is she????
we did this with our three year old after having a roller on for a few weeks, she didn't bat an eyelid either! The worst thing she did was trying to bite me when I sat on her for the first time!

She is now enjoying going out for hacks (no rider) fully tacked up and escorted by her 24 year old minder (my friends CB cross gelding). She has been fine, seen buses, kids on bikes, wagons, everything, just trots along side him on a lead rope.

Good luck - when my little chap was about to start long reining when my instructor asked for his saddle. I went and got Cairo's one - plopped it straight on, reached under and did up the girth - it was then the instructor asked had he worn a saddle before? Nope, but then he just gets on with everything. Within 2 mins of the saddle going on, he was being long reined.

I sometimes can't believe the reactions you see with horses wearing a saddle for the first time - you like me are lucky to have a sensible sort - can't beat them.
