How many mixed emotions can one person have?

Following on from my which pony thread, the gelding we went to see today, well not what I had in mind at all...

I had my doubts as I was looking around 11.3hh - 12.2hh and between 12 and 16 years old, and preferably not grey!

He is a 11.1hh 21 year old grey pony but to see my daughter go straight out of the yard without a lead rein and still ahead of us then to trot off on her own with a smile really says it all - now just down to the finer details

The right pony is often not what you had in mind ! The main thing ,as was said in posts yesterday ,that the child feels safe and happy.I am sure they will have lots of fun.Just invest in loads of shampoo!
