I had one when I was a kid. It was just perfect for my long legs to fold up on my pony. My pony these days is no taller and my legs are no shorter. So I'd really really like one.

My saddle just now is a brand new custom made Barnsby but its not like the one I had way back then. I can picture it in my mind.

If I managed to find one (bearing in mind I am 32 and I am talking about 17 years ago and it wasn't a new saddle then!!:o) is there any point buying it or would it cost loads to reflock etc and would it need totally over hauled or is it possible a really well looked after saddle of that vintage could be in useable condition?

Thanks :D

Really well looked after and not used an awful lot, there may be one, somewhere, but whether it will be for sale who knows. Maybe one will pop up on the new classifieds! Probably some of the modern keeping up to date with fashion people will tell you there's a new alternative :D

Ha ha, well there is a new alternative and I have it but I just want one like I had before. Probably be a real let down but it was really comfortable in those days :D

I've got a Barnsby PC approved half panel 17 inch no knee rolls etc saddle from my first pony, it's really good nick! Its that the sort you meant?
