Six weeks off (due to my bobbered arm) and she was an absolute star!!

Was all prepared to go spinning and who knows where, but apart from two steps backwards when I first got on, she was just brilliant

Rode for ten minutes, just walk and trot as the ground was pretty churned up, and she felt like she's never felt before

. Responsive, listening to me, soft, gentle but powerful. Oooh, gone all gooey

As Friend's daughter put it (wise words from a ten year old!), it was equivalent to turning her away for two months - the four weeks due to teeth, then rode twice over two days, then six weeks just chilling in a field eating grass and contemplating nothing very much. We've been doing a fair bit of ground work and spending time together just chilling

. She's also broadened out (ooh my legs!), and now her ar$e is bigger than mine (okay, only just, but still, it's bigger

Sounds like a great day - I'm having a similar thing with ponio at the moment - it was getting to the stage where I didn't want to get on as he was such a pest. He then got a kick and has spent the last 4 weeks in a field with me just doing a bit of leading practise and handling, grooming etc. Got on last week and he felt amazing (only in walk but non the less) - we even did a turn on the forhand yesterday, before his time off I'd never of even considered sideways, forwards was enough of an issue. The time off has obviously done him the power of good. I've been gooey at work all day! Hope you and Dizzy now go from strength to strength!
