I rode for the first time in almost a year yesterday

I borrowed a friends happy hacker for half an hour, 20 mins of which was hijacked by small person
He is hard work & i am very unfit!!!

but little person was very happy

well done i have to get on again soon after a year off due to no horse but now i have a youngster so it will be no riding for a year and then get on a youngster who has nerver been ridden....

Thanks folks. It did feel good

When i rode last year it was after a car accident & i was so tight in my back, neck & hips. This year it felt great to be able to sit up straight - even if the heels were coming up every time i put my leg on

(next time i'll cheat & wear spurs if the thick skinned litle begger

Boots are actually Tread Step boots & gaiters ISHY, well old, very soft & lovely when polished up.

Hopefully going again next weekend & then in 2 weeks time on friend 17.2hh ex eventer

. Bit stiff today though.
