I rode Josie today! 3 months after surgery!

I am grinning from ear to ear. I never thought I'd sit on her again, neither did my vet if the truth be told. But I have, I can and I'm going to every day for the next 20 years!! SO THERE!!!

What a feeling, just wanted to laugh and cry!

She was amazing. So relaxed. Just plodded around ears pricked and enjoying being out again.

I rode home to stop for photos.

So chilled she fell asleep!

4 months of not being ridden and only turned out in a 15x15 paddock. She's my superstar!

It really is the best feeling in the world.

She had a very serious injury to her suspensory ligament in 2 places. Vet never thought she'd come sound again, let alone be able to go out riding 3 months after surgery.

My vets are amazing though, I can honestly say it's because of them I'm back on her soon. x
