I rode the Dizzy one...

And survived!

I was just going to sit on her and walk up the drive, but a friend at yard said she was going for a hack...Got on for a test as it were a wee way down the drive and Dizz was fine, so we went out! For an hour and a bit! Given the work that Dizz had to do when she was at the AHT, what we did was nothing, but for us it was everything

.

The Dizzy one did gates - only had a go at one before, and both my kneecaps are intact

. Went through a little brook, ok it was backwards and into a prickly hedge, but we got through it

. Had her on a loose rein

. We walked 99% of the way, with a tiny trot and a tiny canter.

All the way round she was happy and interested, happy to lead and to follow friend's horse.

So, so pleased and chuffed with her

Have to say thank you to Friend for support, friend and superstar horse for their patience, Wimbles for picking my confidence up and giving it a brush down and a good talking to, and my ever patient family who waited at the yard for me

I have to say, not having ridden properly for two and a half months means I now have some seriously achey bits!!!
