I have the biggest grin ever!!
My three yr old had a rider on for the first time today. I was planning on leaving him untill later summer start or autumn but decided to do the sitting part sooner from advice from an experianced freind as he is so big and dont want him to big and strong before we do the basics.
Will sit on him a few more times but am not starting anything else untill late summer :)
Do i look very small??

Well done! He looks quite chilled with it all! I don't think you look small on him, you seem quite suited to him. When he is more used to being ridden you can sit up and I think you will make a really lovely picture on him!

Well done! Its very exciting isn't it getting on for the first time!

I sat on my 4yo arab for the first time today - he has been away being broken in, and he walked, trotted & cantered perfectly for me!! I was so pleased! And then I came home and sat on my 3yo - it was the 3rd time I have been up on her, and I just hopped up on her on my own today! She was such a good girl! We didn't manage forward while I was on her - but we are still just playing with her - nothing too much. I probably won't do anything with her for a couple of weeks now! :)

Yes it has been pretty good for me!!!

I have just put a few piccies of my and my little Roo up in PG - he's only about 15hh ish - so quite a bit smaller than yours Deefa!!

My 3yo constantly surprises me by how willing she is to work, and how quickly she learns things. I don't usually do anything with more than once a week - but 9 times out of 10 she will have improved on the last time when I go back to her. She is a very special girl indeed :)

Well done you! Has he got some Cleveland in him? looks it?
I sat on my Clevey for the 1st tim last Sept, was AWSOME! best moment ever - sadly i didnt have a photographer to hand ;)

You dont look too small - You look pleased as can be!!
He looks chilled out - looking great! :D

I bought him as a TBxID but he isn't registered (Mare was a TB called Miss Nightingale but stallion is Hollins Zues and dont know what breed he was as cant find anything about him
