I saw the post about the horse gene and got to thinking...

What genes do you think they could isolate in your horse?
Here are a few from my lad:
* The 'find a polo crumb in a pocket three layers down' gene
* The 'make a nasty face when horse walks by the stable but groom its mane off in the field' gene
* The 'know mummy's car just by the sound of the engine' gene

And my personal favourite... the gene that makes him need to nuzzle mummy's newly washed coat just after burying his nose in a bucket full of sloppy feed

* The "How to worry mummy sick" gene.*

This comes in several variations:
*The " Hide in the field out of sight so mummy thinks you have escaped/ been stolen" gene.
* The "l'm lame" gene
* The " box walking and weaving, but only whilst mummy is around so she thinks I am upset" gene

the "I can hear a packet of polos being opened 200 at 200 paces, but can't hear someone calling me from the gate 10 feet away" gene. Current research suggests that this is related to a similar gene in dogs, with packet of sausages being substituted for packet of polos!

The 'you're not a horsey person and can't possibly handle me and I'm going to take the mick out of you' gene
The 'I cant possibly be in my stable without my friend next door' gene
The 'you can't possibly expect me to jump over that' gene
The 'I can't possibly go out there on my own' gene

The list goes on!
