I spent yesterday checking through 5 acres of meadow ready for mowing. I removed two feed sacks of ragwort -it has taken 23 years of constant removal to get to a few plants per acre. Adjoining is about half an acre of council owned rough land with quite a bit of yellow showing.

I just phoned the council office to ask if I could Roundup the ragwort on their land & got the instant reply - Yes please. That is my evening sorted but at least the parish are sensible.

Well done you. I wonder if anyone else local will see you and come out and help. I would if I was local.
