...Last Sunday I was riding and said to my RI, the last time I rode this horse I got chucked off into that wall! (and showed him where I had ended up with a twisted ankle and a bruised cheek!) Basically last time the horse tanked off with me and I was alot less experienced, the horse bucked and I just went flying into the wall landed in a rather ugly state and hurt my ankle and cheek. Just as the words left my mouth, I was walking round the corner then all the sudden the ponio decided it would be funny to buck and go off into a mad hatter canter. It was de ja vu! (sp) I managed to control the horse and just showed how much Id improved since that time but I swear he was listening!! Btw the horse doesnt always do that because an old lady can get on him and he'll toddle, must just know me!

I think Herbie my new pony knows what i am saying. He is a compleat git to ride. The other day during one of his napping episodes i was waiting for him to deside to walk on instead of running backwards and leaping. I said to him i was his last chance and if i gave up on him he would end up at the nackers yard. With that he walked on. Then yesterday he did it again and i said
"pedagree chum and a stick of glue" and again he walked on.

I think i'm gonna threaten him with this everytime from now on it seems to be the only thing that works.

Im sure my horse does,lol,on days i say to her "Right rose you got to look after your mum today",so off we go good as gold,and some days she can be a sod.If i talk about her on the yard ill turn around and there she is with her head out the stable door ears pricked just staring in other words "I heard that!".Lol
