Merlin has been in to watch every time i have clipped one of the boys over the past year
Yesterday i clipped Blue (was fed up with hairy scruffy looking sweaty creature
) and Merlin came in to watch.
When i'd finished Blue, i took clippers into Merlin's stable so he could see them, and switched them on... not worried.... so went through the whole process of seeing what he thought of them and after a bit of twitching when he could feel the vibrations he was ok once he realised it just felt funny
he now has a little bald patch on his shoulder
Was quite pleased with his reaction
though i won't need to properly clip him for probably another year it was nice to see his first reaction to them touching him was calm
