Out of Saddlers Hall

She is really sweet, needs a lot of schooling but sensible and honest. Only raced once a year as they kept waiting for her to mature etc and still was not fast enough... Had her last race in May 09 so needs building up some more too

She is a lot less than I thought I would have to pay but is the best one despite some being double the money.

I am having her on a weeks trial too

Still feels really odd that she is only half my budget tho (I know that sounds odd)

Damn, thats a very good price, i payed about the same for my new ex racer5 yo, done exactly the same, a bit green and inexperianced on the flat, amazing learner though, very quick, and has come on leaps and bounds...go for it!

well if you can have a weeks trail that is fabowner must be confident that hos will sell itself , price is sensible for a horse who hasnt done much in present market and photo looks nice. Good luck!

She looks lovely. I did think of suggesting you try looking at ex racers when you described the sort of horse you wanted but kept quiet as there are a lot of people far more knowledgable than me on here. You sound similar to me, Im not in the first flush of youth any more and wanted a nice steady horse to hack out and have fun with, I would never have thought of trying a TB, let alone an ex racer (head cases, all of them!) Ive had Che 18 months now and he is the sweetest, kindest and most honest of horses. Good luck with her, I havent regretted my decision once and Im sure you'll have loads of fun, she looks gorgeous.

Nailed thanks hun yes your right they are also selling a foal. She did say in the past she has bought and sold the odd horse.
They do seem like really nice people and the fact I can have a weeks trial is something at least. They are also sending her with a couple of rugs and lending me a saddle.
She is mostly for sale because woman has 6 horses not insured and one got kicked in the face causing a large vet bill, plus with winter coming it makes sense to have less

Will see how the trial goes

go for it and theyr good enough to let you have it on trial so they cant have much to hide and yuo know its green so its a project good luck
