Took a lovely youngster hunting today and we also had a little 13.2 pony going, plus bosses horse. I was holding the pony while the child took of tail bandage and sorted out her stirrups, when she decided to rear up, leap forwards and fall on me
I held on as she would have bolted in the opposite direction, and then the child bravely went to get on, and she went up again, child slid of the back. Third time she got chucked up while I walked the pony round and was fine, but I now have two nicely bashed knees, boss was more concerned about my ankle than anything else
Had a lovely day after that, and the baby was impeccably behaved which makes a nice change. I do look like I fell over in the school ground though
