Hi all....
Hope all your ponies/horsies are ok, hope you have all had a good day...etc all that!!!
Have to start back at the begining, pls no criticsm.....
We were going to sell/loan our mare (long story!), and a woman phoned up, asked all sorts of questions (1st time owner) but our mare was too big for her children...etc! So a few weeks later she phoned up again to ask my mum what she thought about another pony (my mum gave her all the advice she wanted..etc!) So this lady took her girls to go and see the pony, they got on him (but they are not very experienced...don't know the full story...sorry). She bought him. but when they got him home, and they tried trotting him he bucked until the girls fell off, she has now asked someone to take him on (for schooling) but they don't have the time he needs (there isn't a problem with him...had back, teeth, saddle...everthing checked). She is going to sell him as he isn't the pony she thought he was: ie needs someone experienced to ride him..... Well here come the MAD part!!!! I have to do some work-experience soon, and I had an idea....I could go down to her house for 2 weeks, and do my work experience down there(working for the yar nextdoor/vets!), help her with her pony, then - possibly - bring him back up here and take our pony down for her 2 girls.....yep mad i know taking on a bucker but in my last riding school i was asked to ride a haflinger that bucked, and bucked, and bucked, they kept giving him to me cos the owner wouldn't ride him, he would get everyone off, unless he was not in 'one of those moods' but I seemed to get on really well with him - first time i rode him was for a comp, He did a rodeo at the begining and we went round clear! So I think i would be ok!!!
So what do you guys think...am I mad??? Or am i just stupid!!!!! Anyway i'm up for a challenge, difficult ponies..etc!! My mum has just emailed her as our phone isn't working at the mo...so am waiting for a response, if she says no i will understand, but if she says yes....OMG what have I let myself in for, no only joking, i LOVE riding the naughty ones!!
Any advice welcome ( I think he is about 6?!?!?!)
Bye
