I know you've found an instructor! We've had Sally for the last couple of years, She came out to help with my horse who had a farrier phobia, which she solved in a few short sessions and I was so impressed that I asked her to give my daughter lessons. She's lovely, very patient, sensitive and really understands horses. I'm sure you'll do well with her.

I thought you were going to take it easy with your mare seeing as she has a 1 month old foal at foot?

The OP doesn't mention anywhere that her mare has a foal at foot if that comment was aimed at me Thistle. If this is the case then I'm pretty sure Sally will be doing ground work that will benefit both mare and foal.
