Ginger Ninja has had both of his field mates leave him in the last 3 weeks. I thought he wouldn't cope as usually he is so needy. Anyway he seems to have settled in the field on his own and today I rode in the school. Oh my!
it was like riding a different horse! Consistant contact in walk and trot, responsive, relaxed and no shouting for friends. He was always listening to me and was a happy pony!
We had a couple of big bucks asking for canter but that was just because he was full of beans.
I have fallen in love with my pony all over again.
But......
At the weekend 2 new ponies will be coming to the yard and he will be sharing a field with them so I have a feeling I will be back to square 1 again
Might ask yo if he can have an individual paddock.
