Just been well and truly bitten by a horse, not my own, and arm is up like a football. Considering this was through a very thick fleece and padded jacket, god knows what would have happened if I hadnt got them on! Would be the right arm as well, just as well Ive already mucked out etc.

Ouch!!! Poor you! I've never been seriously bitten (my old boy used to put his whole mouth round my shoulder but it was always very gentle and endearing) but have seen how they go for each other in the field, would not want to be on the recieving end of that!!!

I know what you mean, this week I have been kicked and bitten. fortunatley niether time was serious, but I do have some nice bruises.

One time a horse got someone I knew and their upper arm was bruised and about grapefruit sized for awhile!
