I think my dog is a racist...

My greyhound really doesn't like black/chocolate labradors and spaniels. He displays the most odd behaviour around them. All other breeds he is completely fine with. Weirdo!! : )

I think its something to do with it being difficult for other dogs to read the body language and more specifically the eye area of brown/black dogs (there can be similar problems with dogs with docked tails) my dogs do not like GSD or Akitas probably because their ears are nearly always pricked and the Akitas tail is also always up

My lurcher is THE friendliest dog in the world - lives to play with other dogs and people - but if he sees a springer spaniel he runs a mile! As far as I know he has no history with spaniels except a friend of mine trains gundogs and hers are like Duracell bunnies He is fine with cockers though......

My dog genuinely is racist though...we live in a very white part of the country, she met a black man one day and went totally and completely mad. Was SO embarrassing, one of those proper "ground swallow me up" moments!!!

OK...oh gawd...B took a real pick against this white GSD that used to come to training.

I was talking to B while we were lined up to do agility because he was grumbling at the white dog, and said 'Oh, come on now, stop the nonsense, he's exactly the same as you, he's just a different colour!' - the LOOKS I got

Tessie doesn't like any kind of spaniel. Dunno why, they've never done anything to her. She doesn't like black and white collies either but she's absolutely fine with merles and reds o_____o''

Mine is definitely a rascist but only against her own race She can't stand GSDs and boxers! She likes other Dobermanns though.
