When walking along the disused railway line yesterday, I slipped over, straight on my rear!
Skye (you remember the one who runs way) had been chasing her ball so I wasn't holding the long line and she came straight back to me well before the other 2 ( they were more concerned about getting the ball first before coming to see if I was OK)and gave me a "kiss". I didn't call her or anything.
I thought it was just a fluke (obviously gave her loads of praise) and continued the walk when darn me I did it again and she was straight back to me again and licked me.
I was thrilled that she
a. didn't run off when she had every opportunity
and
b. is obviously now beginning to be part of the family
and
c. That I didn't hurt myself. (well I have a sligtly swollen hand today but it is usable and only hurts a little bit)

Thats good news

We have been sledging in the fields and everytime I sit down Otto is on top of my head! I made a snow angel yesterday and yet again got a Spaniel on my head!

It's nice when you realise that perhaps they don't just tolerate you afterall!

It was worth the pain of falling over. I felt so overjoyed that she didn't just b***** off. It was one of those wonderful moments. (I felt like I had "Lassie" with me!)
Mind you, I'm not walking along there again until it thaws a bit. It could have been awful as it is isolated.
