Back early summer I was looking for a pony for myself but only actually rang up about 2 people and then stopped looking for a while as my usual livery yard became full. One of the ponies was about 100 miles away (privately owned) and we nearly went to view him but decided it was a bit far as I wasn't 100% sure that he may be the right one. Since then I have been window shopping on the net and last night I was drawn to a pony from a dealer about 20 minutes away. We went to see him today and he was perfect so I rang the livery yard to see if there was space and was told I can have grass livery until a stable becomes available. The dealer told me his name and when I got home it dawned on me that he had the same name and looked very similar to the pony I had decided not to view a few months ago. So I've found the original advert on the website he was on and it is indeed him!

Why do you think he's changing hands again? Not that it matters if he's the one for you and yes I believe in fate

Real Answer: (judging by OPs post) He was bought by a dealer.

My Preferred Answer : The gods have moved him to her doorstep because their destinies are irrevocably intertwined .....

The original owner had to sell him as her daughter had outgrown him and they ended up part-exchanging with this dealer. I'm happy as everything the dealer told me about him matched up to what the woman had told me on the phone a few months ago.

I too very much believe things that are meant to be will be!

I too have been looking for a new horse after losing my mare on 2nd July. Two weeks later my sister said a lady she knew had a mare with a foal at foot who was to be weaned in October and then go on long term loan. October was ages away and I didn't want to loan so I said I wasn't really interested.
Have been to see loads of horses in the mean time and even nearly bought one but he failed his vetting.

Then in September I was at a show and met the girl who found me my last mare (I hadn't seen her for nearly five years!) and as we were stood talking a woman came up on her horse. My friend ran over and started to ask her what she was doing with her other mare, turned out it was the above mare!

Again she was only for loan not to be weaned till next month blagh blagh blagh!

Then I found another horse I liked but had one issue about and just as I was about to make a decision on him my friend rang me and said are you still looking for a horse. SO I told her possibly and this darn mare was the one again!

I decided I HAD to go and see her just to put it to sleep once and for all....off I tootled and she she is gorgeous and came to live with me yesterday!

I feel as though I was stalled until she was ready

and best of all her owner has said that if we really got on then she would consider selling her to me
