2 weeks ago Beacon was being so naughty with his jumping I thought I would finally have to give up and sell him.

So have worked extra hard this last 2 weeks and today was the day to see if any of it had paid off.
Got to a wet show ground and drizzly rain.

Warmed him up and told dad he is in a nice mood. was landing over the practice jump rather on his forehand but hey.

In the arena he was mostly good, had a few hairy moments but we managed a CLEAR ROUND WAHOO

It was a twisty course especially in the wet so only 2 of us made it thro to the jump off. Well thats where it went rather wobbly, he took a hold and would not listen so went flat at the first knocking a pole down, I managed to get him back to go over the wall and big white fence, but lost him again coming into the double, he took off too late and his striding was way out so ran out at the 2nd part, MADE him listen as went over it clear the second time so we came 2ND

I am so pleased all I dreamt of was a clear round. Yet at the same time I know it is a shame as if he had only listened we would have won as he was still faster than the other horse and we had to retake the double (told you that boy is fast!!)

It was all I could ask really
