I went hunting yesterday for the first time in 18 years.....
I decided to man up and take my mare hunting yesterday, she is only 6 and very green, my husband took her the sat before for the first time and the Monday, I then took her the following sat, so in effect the. Poor thing went 3 times in one week, although the first 2 times he did hardly anything .
We had great fun and were at the back doing gates, so basically playing catch up, after an hour and half she was so I tired and sweaty she was struggling to keep up, so we decided to hack home ( we hacked 2 miles to the. Meet and 4 miles home...... ) was great for my first time ,think she needs a clip, something other than grass and serious cardio work!! Lol. She Will only hunt once every 2 weeks, but what would you recommend energy wise for a chilled out 6 yr old welsh x coloured cob, she's ridden every dayTrotted and and cantered lots on very hilly devonshire hills ..
