...her real age!

Went to a Rural Ride at Delamont Country Park today and my 29 year old pony bounced the whole way round! No one could believe her age

When we finished the RR the BHS had a wee Le Trec course set up, a go as you please so we decided to give it a little go.

It was so much fun

I'd love to try it again. We rode through water, did two little jumps, tram lines etc and Misty had such a ball. So much so we had a speed issue at the first jump as the excitment got too much so we had to circle but she did it perfectly second time.

No pictures I'm afraid as our photography peed away off

We did come home with a big rossette and a wee bag of carrots.

Yeah, Le Trec is so much fun! Me and Bodey did our first comp this year and came 4th, wish there were more comps around. Did you have to do the horse standing in a circle while you walked away?

Sounds like you did really well Gina!

I have done lots of Trec on April and it's so much fun

Helps that April is only 14.2 and very maneuverable... not sure how Tara would take to it lol although she seems quite handy out on hacks

ps If you ever need help with the orienteering phase PM trecpeter - he is a minefield of useful information
