why cant my pony be the same everyday i ride? sometimes he can be an angel. super obedient, turns a blind eye to everything. butter wouldn't melt etc! today was not one of those days. as i was grooming him i cud see he was tense. it was soooooo windy, plus some sheep had jst moved in next door, so they were all a bit tizzy in the field. i choose to avoid going on the hill and jst go for a pootle round the roads.
all was fine, the odd spook here and there. until we were half a mile from home. ben got all jumpy and then swung himself round in the road. the scene behind - a funeral carriage with 4 gorgeous (and obedient!!) horses were thundering in our direction. i decided to kick on and get out of their way. i knew they wud take a right turn away from us eventually. next thing i know, we're cantering sideways down the road!!! oh dear, what a performance. anyhow, we got home and were covered head to toe in sweat. stupid pony!!! altho, we've never seen a carriage before, so i guess i forgive him really!!

Don't worry - your 'plod' will return, our whole yard have been nutters today. I nearly fell out the back door earlier when my 'steady' cob unexpectdly decided to jet propel him self up a steep hill at 60 mph......

oh god, such fun, look forward to getting the hairy in later then! he is pretty lively with any excuse at the moment - snow falling was the last excuse to get bouncy lol

Just keeping you on ur toes hehe. Lets face it if they were angels all the time we would be bored and probably bad riders

Love it Winston gets a bit of wind up his bottom makes a change from plodding everywhere.
