I want to forget today ever happened..

First thing at 6 am, boiler made terrible noise then packed in!
Then my teenager, who saw the dentist wens about a sore tooth, woke me his face resembled a lop sided chipmunk ! Abcess! Then Couldn't get hold of dentist, who refused to give him treatment yesterday when his face started to swell, so NHS direct sent us to casualty, and surgeon took one look at him and rushed him in for surgery under sedation and a local to open up his gum and drain and flush the abcess!!! So I then had to cancell the jump clinic we were going to as horses had, overnight gone down with a cold virus that's gone through yard like wildfire.. Snott everywhere. Two sad teenagers whose horses are poorly and one son sleeping off face surgery!!! Please tell me it can get better, it's only day one of half term! Plumber coming Monday , !
I need a drink!!!!

Can't match yours, but my horses are playing wild gallopy games through the water meadow and totally trashing it; and I've just somehow lost an hour's work off the face of the earth - and the computer. You are not alone.... Poor chap with the abscess. Absolute agony. Hope he fells better soon. Shoot the dentist!

oh no! poor son! IIWY I would complain about the dentist - that has got to be malpractice. Hope everyone better v soon.

Sure am going to phone dental practice Monday, I pay £18 a month for cover as a private patient for me and son, as no NHS ones here in our area. They had an emergency number but no one would answer the dam phone! I think he got best attention at the hospital. The doctor was good and knew his stuff.

think I am having one of those days, had a text from friend at 7.30 this morning to say that my ponies had escaped into another ladies field, they have totally trashed the fencing so have spent most of the day repairing and strengthening whilst being shouted at by the OH because he is cheesed off which has left me in tears all day, to top it off we were supposed to go and collect a load of hay which we had to cancel because of the fencing so have to fit it in tomorrow, hope tomorrow is so much better for you x
