Hello, I've been working and riding horses my whole life but now I want to get one of my own but I was wondering what jobs could I do to earn money that incorporate the horse as well
Many thanks

Do you mean what jobs can you get working with horses?
Or ones where you can take your horse to work?

your question is quite difficult to understand sorry

Some places take on YM/grooms where you are able to livery your horse at that yard.

what previous work have you had with horses? that should give you an indicator of what is available to you.

So I've done 2 year course on equine care and management and been working as a groom on a equine yard for 6 years now and I was looking for something on the side as well

A groom with 6 years suitable experience might be quite attractive to a competition yard if your CV is up to scratch. You can sometimes take your horse.

someone I know took her bombproof horse as a trek leader over the summer months at a trekking center but this was her full time job, not on the side.

I've tried to work on a competition yard before Its too high paced and lots of hours, I was thinking more along the lines of something I can do on a freelance basis if you know any jobs like that perhaps something like clipping services or something

Hi sorry, one where I can take my horse to the job or use it in the job

The trouble is that you will never earn good money working with horses. If it is a unskilled job that many can do like grooming, multi drop driving, cleaning, dinner lady then you will never earn mega bucks. That is not to cause offence to those that do such jobs and we need those people, but I am just illustrating the point. I know as I used to be a delivery driver :(

So I would forget about taking a potential horse to a job and learn some new office based skills via training that you can put to work in a more challenging job to get better money.

many folk I know have full time non equine job to support their hobby and then clip or poo pick on side. You are then starting to run out of hours in the day to spend time with your horse.
I think you’ll be hard pushed to find something you can use your horse at work, on a part time basis unless you fancy being a cowboy or something.

If you mean incorporate your horse, and you don't want to go to a competition yard, I think your best bets are working at a riding school or a trekking centre and having your horse on working livery.
