my husband is laying a huge patio in our back garden and has bought me a swinging chair - something ive always wanted - But what woth the weather and being busy ive not really had time to sit on it for long - so today the weather is lovely i have rushed around doing my housework so that i can have an hour or so on my swing and talk to my husband whilst he was laying the patio - we always seem to be rushed so i was looking forward to the time together. His friend turned up at 12 oclock and sat himeself down on my swing - and he is still there 3 1/2 hours later - i even went out a while ago with a magazine and sat on the swing hoping he'd gat the message and bugger off - but he didnt and it felt so awkward that ive come in!!!!! I am funing and want to go out and scream F*** O** to him - How inconsiderate of him! thanks for listening to my rant!!!!
 
Give him some some big hints - failing that just tip him off!!
Not that you're getting much sympathy from me as you've got sunshine! Its tipping down here.
I was in Manchester for work yesterday - I left just after 3pm and got home at 8 this morning. Then to add insult to injury, just as I got to sleep my OH's mother rang to ask if I thought he'd like a dalek tie for Xmas.
 
oh poor you - would he like a darlek tie???? That idiots just gone but now its too late suns gone and ive got to go to iceland and get pony in!
 
That's a long way to go for your pony - I didn't realise she lived abroad - mind you probably quicker than going to Manchester!
He probably would like the tie - and apparently they do matching cufflinks. When I said I'd just got to bed she decided to chat for ages. Maybe went to the same tact school as your husband's friend!
 
ive just come back and read your (and my) post - that has cheered me up had quite a chuckle!!! Been to iceland had a bugger to park the car! Its all those sleighs and huskys!xxxx
 
Hmmm......I have always wanted a hammock and bought one half price last year at the end of summer. The weather has been so crap this year it is still in it's box.
If you had a hammock you could sort 'accidentally' twist it so he falls out!!!

Why don't you suggest he fetches himself a beer from the fridge then just stretch out across it while he's gone.
