i want to try hunting but can't

i'd really love to have a go at hunting, but i don't have my own horse and im not a mamber of a PC or RC.

does anybody know how i can have a go at hunting??

and do i have to be a hunt member.

also, the riding school i go to doesn't loan out ponies for things like that

anybody have any ideas??

Near to most hunts there is someone who hires horses out for a days hunting.

Try looking for info on hirelings on your local hunts webpage

The best thing to do is ring your local hunt sec they can help by telling you the cap and also where you could hire a horse from! Details should be on the MFHA website.
Don't worry the hirelings will be experinced hunters and look after you!

Do you know anyone who would take you hunting?? My sister took me hunting and I didn't have a pony - She had some connections with some hunty people though, so search around for anyone you know who also knows the hunt or knows someone willing to let you take their horse out!
